Abstract:
In Forever Finite: The Case Against Infinity (Rond Books, 2023), the author argues that, despite its cultural popularity, infinity is not a logical concept and consequently cannot be a property of anything that exists in the real world. This article summarizes the main points in Forever Finite, including its overview of what debunking infinity entails for conceptual thought in philosophy, mathematics, science, cosmology, and theology.

On The Articles of The Rond Project
Authors of philosophical works typically write for their colleagues, publishing highly technical articles in scholarly periodicals and academic journals, printed and distributed in hardcopy. However, such articles are usually not offered for free, except to students and professors with a library membership at a college or university. Consequently, many such articles go largely unread and stand virtually no chance of having an impact on culture. The author of the works supporting the Rond Project wishes to reach a wider audience and so he takes a different route. His articles are all open access works online, and so available to the public without restriction.
